The Trips is an award-winning band based in Austin/San Marcos, Texas, composed of triplet siblings Sammy, Marshall, and McKenna Wells. With a lifelong passion for music and a strong familial connection, The Trips bring high energy to their music. Their hybrid rock & roll sound delivers a powerful modern vibe with a touch of vintage flair. While The Trips have been playing music together their entire lives, the band was officially formed in High School, and live shows soon followed. Since the late 2010s, The Trips have been honing their craft on stage and in the studio. Their first album, 'Gotta Start Somewhere,' was released in November 2024. Recorded at Firehouse Studios with producer Hayes Howard, the album was widely popular and earned The Trips multiple SMMA awards. They are currently working on a brand-new album at Yellow Dog Studios with Grammy-winning Producer Adam Odor. The band is working diligently on single releases to support the full album.
